Our Beloved Kelly Pall Pensel

Hello Everyone! I am getting pictures downloaded this weekend with my father.  Yay! They are all on disk and will probably be added to my myspace and facebook page this weekend as well.  You can click on the links posted on the side of the page if you do not have me added as a friend yet and I will be sure to add you if you are also a member of myspace and facebook.

Remembering Kelly:

A couple of us started going to Calvary Chapel on his behalf on Wednesday nights.  Are you interested in joining us?  There is a 6:30 and 8:30 service so please let me know.  Our goal was to visit his grave and then go to the service after but unfortuantely the cemetary closes their gates at either 5 or 5:30pm. :( Do any of you go to a great church that you would recommend? I’m trying to get involved more in the church community. Thanks!

If anyone has ideas on how to get involved more on his memory (i.e. charities), please comment.

Erika :)

  1. I am a friend of the family and I babysat Kelly when he was very young. I miss him and I grieve for him and his family. He was shy and loving and very impressionable, yet wise and strong beyond his years.. Let me add that his mom is the BEST mom ever. Everything she did whilst raising kelly was in his best interests. She loved him and nurtured him and supported him fully. Her life revolved around his needs and best interests and she loved living life that way and being the best mom she could be.
Dont fprget Kelly and remember his mom and who he was necause of her!!!

    Love and peace,

  2. Hi Erika,

First, this is a wonderful tribute you have set up for Kelly. This alone is a great way to keep his spirit alive, and to you’re doing more to help people through this site than you probably realize.

I, too, have thought about getting involved in some type of charity in memory of Kelly. I actually do quite a bit of fundraising and find it to be one of the most rewarding and meaningful things I do. One thing I was thinking of for Kelly was something that would help to raise awareness/prevention of suicide. If you want to explore any ideas, and would like help setting something up, let me know. I would love to help.

    Thanks!
    Margaret

  3. Margaret,

I agree completely! I think suicide prevention is an excellent choice. I want to look into it this week. If we could do it all together, as a “family,” I think that would be a great way to remember him. Let’s keep in contact and make sure to tell Karrah to keep working on those front handsprings!!

    :) Erika
